It’s Murderbot Day at last. System Collapse, The Murderbot Diaries #7 is out!

In preparation i’ve been re-reading the series. I'm in the middle of #5. Gotta stay away from spoilers. And should have timed this re-read a bit better.

I've been looking forward to Sea of Tranquility by for a while, but I felt the need to re-read Station Eleven and Glass Hotel first, and then had to wait a bit for SoT to be available from the library. I started it on Wednesday and I am NOT DISAPPOINTED. I just got to the twist (is it a true twist? there was definite foreshadowing) and now I'm worried this book is going to be over way too soon. @bookstodon

@janbartosik @bookstodon is this what inspired the film? Or the other way around?

@agt @bookstodon As an old guy I use a reg size iPad. Mostly with Libby or Hoopla apps for library book. Then kindle for some stuff not available. One of the benefits for me is i can easily make the print a bit bigger and not need my reading glasses. and be able to use the other apps quickly. Which might not be what you want.
Have a 8 ish year old kindle and rarely use.

As a I’ve read this book hoping to understand the current situation better. It is affecting me emotionally in the ways I am not ready to share, but the most important thing is, it shows how people are not that different anywhere and how decisions are driven by personal loyalties, family dynamics and personal experiences more often than by commitment to ideals/ideologies good or ill

@beholderess @bookstodon Thanks for posting about this book. I’ve added it to my reading list. - tim
