Little over one hour to my first ever meeting - and on Jitsi, at that. I'm nervous as hell, and there's definitely anxiety rampaging around in there, but that's to be expected from my brain.
The weird thing? I know I'll do fine. I know they'll be good people. I'm not actually afraid or scared of anything.
People often don't understand this. Anxiety disorders are very odd. You're not really scared of anything - only the mental and physical feelings of anxiety exist.
I've gone ahead and instance-blocked both rage.love and mastodon.art for organising and partaking in countless bullying and harassment campaigns against several innocent people, specifically several trans women. Serious instances need to protect themselves from these harassers, and while I understand my admin @milan can't really defederate from a large instance like .art, us individual users sure can.
Their harassment has been going on long enough. I don't want it in my timeline anymore.
@milan Yeah .art is difficult because 99.9% of its users are totally fine. It's the leadership that's been partaking in these harassment campaigns, sadly. I totally am not expecting you or anyone else to defed over that!
@milan Wait, If I were to report someone from a different instance, you get the report too? I assumed it would just go to the admins of the reported user's instance, so I never bothered reporting admins of other instances. 😅
