honestly? the fact that he dabbled in a few things, found out he was wrong, and then either changed his mind or at least shut the fuck up about it makes me like him more. idk how he ended up being an antigun socialist but maybe someone can talk to him about that too
What I mean is that they bully trans people into killing themselves and then try to treat being trans like a mental illness because of the suicide rate. Fun fact about the trans suicide rate: when a trans person is allowed to live out with the support of their community, it returns to within delta of the suicide rate for cis people. Trans people aren’t inherently any more suicidal than anyone else, and while we’d never be able to run such an unethical experiment I’d bet my house that if cis people had to deal with the constant bullying, othering and violence trans people deal with they’d probably kill themselves a lot more too.
This bill violates the president’s first amendment right to free speech because forcing him to do it is tantamount to forcing him to say he’s okay with doing it.
This is a Republican majority. It’s the new math they use to make it so that when the Senate vote is 51-49 and Republicans are the 49 they win, or when they lose the popular vote for president they still win.
