There was a poll that stated—Rowling’s opening line in the HP series is one of best in the world. Someone posted about how there are a bunch of other opening statements that are better.

Here’s one of my personal favorites, from Gabriel Garcia Marquez (English translated):
“It is inevitable. The scent of bitter almonds always reminded him of the fate of unrequited love.”

Just watched the first episode of the new season of on . It's a joke they've done before with the unsubtle wink down the camera, but it was very on point as being true to Futurama.

Felt more like classic Futurama than some of the later comedy central ones. Hopefully the rest of the season can continue to deliver

@gnuplusmatt I'm mildly interested now. I've been hearing multiple reports that the new Futurama episodes seem to be good.
I was a big fan back when the series first aired and I still love the first three seasons of it, but I feel like the series quickly went downhill from there.
I've been chasing that sort of high with every new Futurama revival and I'm afraid to be disappointed again. 😩
