Since I’ve been on Lemmy, I don’t know what my use is for Mastodon anymore. It’s dead on there anyway. I don’t have anyone to talk to and nobody responds to my posts.
I’ve not posted much on Mastodon, but I used a couple of hashtags and an interested-based group that automatically boosts any post you tag it in and I’ve gotten some people to respond! But yeah Lemmy and Mastodon are pretty different ways of interacting with people so I can see how you might like one more than another.
tldr; Go to settings and turn on “Automatic Verification”. Only works in Safari and you need at least MacOS Ventura or Sonoma. This also works on your iPhone (mine was automatically turned on!)
Would something single sign on (SSO) even be possible? I think the convenience of having a single account for the family of federated platforms would be wildly convenient....

Do you think if SSO was possible across Federated platforms that it would help drive adoption of decentralized platforms like Lemmy, Mastodon, Pixelfed, Kbin, and others?
