Steam controller is great for that, I love it but the build quality doesn’t feel good, it’s quite light and plastic-ey
If you like the track pads on the deck the ones on the sc are very similar you’ll probably like those too. The joystick on the sc isn’t the best though and it doesn’t have a right stick so kinda sucks for games designed for twin stick
So the pi takes over dchp and assigns itsself as a DNS server? I assume if I want to assign static IPs I have to do it through the pi from then on?
Can’t use pihole because I’m running NixOS on my pi and the only way to run it is via docker container (which melts down my system, believe it’s trying to emulate x86 for some reason)
I discovered last night that I could run overwatch at smooth and solid ~144fps on max settings, I’m pretty sure I couldn’t do that on Windows, blew my mind a little
I used Dex for a while as a software developer, it works surprisingly well for most office tasks and at the company I was working at at the time we did most of our work in cloud VMs anyway
With everything moving to the cloud it’s going to become more and more attractive to just have a tablet (with a keyboard case) instead of a laptop/pc and just dock it when you need peripherals I think
That said that’s good for those of us wanting to use Linux as our desktops because we’ll be on basically the same playing field as all the windows users if they go entirely cloud based. No longer any need to use onlyoffice/libreoffice (I like them but my manager seems to think they aren’t fully compatible with office files that we get from clients )
