@EU_Commission It feels really strange that you warn us about harmfull substances that are not banned yet.
I mean warning is better then not warning, however just banning those substances (or highly regulating them) would be an even better approach right?
Why is this not the case yet?
Yesterday the EU approved new rules on energy efficiency to reduce our final energy consumption by at least 11.7% by 2030, compared to the energy consumption forecasts made in 2020.
This will drive energy savings in critical sectors like buildings, industry, and transport, moving us forward on our path to becoming climate neutral.
It will also strengthen our energy security and further decrease our dependency on Russian fossil fuels.
@EU_Commission We indeed are :).
To bad that the EU too often takes climate hurting actions.
Like subsidizing meat and voting against plant based school milk.
Hold on, shoppers! Sales are here (or coming soon) in the EU.
It's time to rethink our fashion choices.
Before you buy, ask yourself: do I really need this?
Fast fashion is harmful. It is resource intensive, emits greenhouse gases and uses a lot of water.
By 2030, our goal is clear: all #EU textile products will be long-lived, recyclable and made as much as possible of recycled fibres, respecting social rights and the environment.
Let's redefine fast fashion and create a sustainable future.
