I stumbled upon this story ages ago and I can’t remember the name of the website anymore. It was a collection of fantasy stories taking place in the same world written by two people. The story I started reading starts with a man waking up in a field with a dagger wrapped in silk laying on his chest. When he looks around he...
This seems like one of those cultivation/litRPG web novels. I remember reading this exact scene, but unfortunately there are so many of these novels with very similar premise, I can’t recall exactly where.
Check on wuxiaworld.com, it’s a site with licensed web novels, try to scroll through their Korean novel collections. I most probably either read it there or on Webtoon. Not sure.

I think middle parts suffer in most long series. I don’t recall much from the Oathbringer though, but I remember liking it when I read it. May notice the issues during re-read.
And yeah, loving the secret projects. I think we needed these from him as much as he needed to write these. 😀
Thanks for mentioning fantasticfiction.com, I have seen it mentioned a couple of times, but always thought would check it later and then forgot.
Generally, I just use LibraryThing (and Wikipedia) and they usually have very uptodate information, but there is no way to subscribe to any author / series and get the updates, you have to manually look up the author / series. So a way to automatically get the update sounds nice.
The Far Reaches sounds great, I have heard great things about James S.A. Corey, Veronica Roth and John Scalzi. So, should look it up.
Not reading anything Fantasy right now. Unless we count manga, in that case, reading JuJutsu Kaisen. Just started it. Liking it so far.
We also have a weekly thread (not a lie) at /c/[email protected]. You’re all welcome to join in on the discussion. It’s about all books, so everything from Fantasy, sci-fi, romance, non-fiction, text books, all are welcome!
Oooh. I loved Tress of the Emerald Sea. It was very refreshing style, if Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is anything similar, it’s going to be great too.
Yeah, me too. Though I was mostly a lurker on reddit, and while lurking on lemmy for a while and not finding one, I decided to create one. A place to start gathering the people. Hopefully, we will seeing people contributing soon too. 👍
(That was me, going on a roundabout way, to encourage you to join and start posting 😀)
Heh, that is most probably true. On reddit, I too was subscribed to both bullet journal and fountain pens subs. Though, haven’t joined it here (yet), it is not a healthy community for your wallet. 😀
I have more inks that I’ll probably use in next decade, don’t have enough pens though… also missing a few colours in ink…
