@dailymedievalcats @medievodons @histodons while Not medieval, my cat has been carrying on the grand tradition of messing with the written word

This. This is what I have to put up with before dinner. He is convinced I am performing experiments in feline starvation. Were he not about 50% overweight, some might even believe his tales of woe.

Thor, realizing that meowing was not going to change my mind about an early dinner, resorted to totally unfair tactics of looking super pathetic

@jerry Corrie is working really hard to convince me that she, too, has never been fed, EVER.

I need to find some solution that combines curtains with those climbing ropes from gym class so I don’t have to replace this every 3 months at the rental condo

@jerry @mjausson May I recommend pipe instead?

It’s what the Army uses for its climbing bars, and thus proven to handle the weight of adults. (Scroll down to page 8)

I signed up to take pictures of families with Santa at a thing my wife volunteers at. Does anyone have a good system for keeping track of pictures to people/contact info? Thinking about taking a pic of their signup card before and after. Last year, their photographer had a ton of issues with having lost whose pictures belonged to who.

@jerry +1 to some variant of “have the person in the picture holding a thing with their identifying info and take a picture of that”

Having the person hold it is useful so you don’t run into a “was this the info for the preceding group or the following group?” Situation.

I am currently having difficulty convincing chatgpt that traffic circles cause tornados

@jerry ask if it knows about the vortex that happens during NASCAR races that keeps the rain away.

IIRC it was Darrel Waltrip who was the primary proponent of this theory.
