Hello, I want to make it clear that I know how to use my raspberry pi 3b+, I know how to torrent, and I have a general idea how to bind qbittorrent to a VPN on linux....
I just bought a Pi and set this up a couple of weeks ago. I turned my Pi into a NAS using OMV 6 (Open Media Vault - free), installing docker compose and qbittorrent in OMV, also installed gluetun docker in OMV, and then added my, opened a port in AirVpn, and added the port to gluetun and set the network_mode argument in qbittorrent to my gluetun container. Now qbittorrent only connects to my vpn. OMV has extensive documentation for setting it and docker compose up, and the OMV community forum is extremely active.
I went from Mullvad to AirVpn a month ago. I really like it so far. The web ui takes some getting used to. But I haven’t had any issues and port forwarding works very well.
I recently found out that it's possible. The password restriction doesn't apply when accessing netflix from a computer browser. The restriction notification only (for now) pops up when trying to watch Netflix through an app (e.g., Roku Netflix). I'll just cast netflix from my laptop to TV if I want a big screen. Not saying this is ideal, but it's a workaround.
