What's wrong with using a browser to view Lemmy? Seems like a lot of posts are about best apps for Lemmy. Am I missing out on something by not using an app?

First post. Majorly a lurker on reddit, and now that I’ve switched to Lemmy, most likely will continue to stay a lurker....

The biggest annoyance for me is hitting the back button in my browser as it doesn’t remember how far down I scrolled on the page.

There are lots of other little convenience things but that’s what prompted me to download an app.

Do you guys think this is the start of something bigger?

I’ve been using Lemmy and learning the ropes of the Fediverse and I’m really impressed - especially using wefwef which has replicated my Apollo experience very well....

I was skeptical of lemmy at first but it’s definitely growing on me. As apps and features mature I’m sure it’s going to be even better.

Was a chronic lurker on Reddit but hoping to contribute to communities here to help it grow!
