❓If you were writing a #book about your life or your greatest love, what tropes would be at the heart of it?
Probably our main tropes with Elena are Lots of Fun, Laughing Out Loud, and Meow-meow😂 But I didn’t find those #tropes in the traditional lists—and they should be there! 😹
I decided to summarize the #book year, and here's my nomination for the Best cover of 2023🏆.
🥇The entire The Inheritance Games #series win for me, especially the upcoming The Grandest Game. I love when an image makes you want to look closer and has lots of catchy details.
In🥈and 🥉place are the Fourth Wing festive edition & Iron Flame. Despite misprints here and there, the design with gold casting really encourage readers to buy.
@vdvestelle@bookstadon The Inheritance Games series - yes. The Grandest Game will be released next year, and Fourth Wing/Iron Flame I've read through my wife's eyes😅 She likes romance stories more than me. In her opinion, Fourth Wing is much better than Iron Flame. It's too repetitive and not well edited. Anyway, it's a huge success for Rebecca Yarros and I'm genuinely happy for her and the genre fans!
#WordWeavers 12: Antagonist POV: What food would you serve to your enemy?
😏Antagonist? Food? That would be too simple.
First off, in The Closed Tunnel, in the deep underground cities, you should try to guess who the MC should avoid, who he should be scared to death of, and who is just watching him (yet).
Unobvious villains: Isn't that what we face in real life?😉
This weekend is my first test of the waters with ads and leaflets for The Closed Tunnel at YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) in London🫣 You may see one page from it below 🤗
Of course, the book isn't finished yet, so it's just an invitation to my newsletter, where I plan to send out gifts from time to time.
It’s my first contact with the big world, and I'm super nervous🙈 Just send me some good vibes, please 🫶🏻
