Probably our main tropes with Elena are Lots of Fun, Laughing Out Loud, and Meow-meow😂 But I didn’t find those in the traditional lists—and they should be there! 😹

I decided to summarize the year, and here's my nomination for the Best cover of 2023🏆.

🥇The entire The Inheritance Games win for me, especially the upcoming The Grandest Game. I love when an image makes you want to look closer and has lots of catchy details.

In🥈and 🥉place are the Fourth Wing festive edition & Iron Flame. Despite misprints here and there, the design with gold casting really encourage readers to buy.

@vdvestelle @bookstadon The Inheritance Games series - yes. The Grandest Game will be released next year, and Fourth Wing/Iron Flame I've read through my wife's eyes😅 She likes romance stories more than me. In her opinion, Fourth Wing is much better than Iron Flame. It's too repetitive and not well edited. Anyway, it's a huge success for Rebecca Yarros and I'm genuinely happy for her and the genre fans!

12: Antagonist POV: What food would you serve to your enemy?

😏Antagonist? Food? That would be too simple.

First off, in The Closed Tunnel, in the deep underground cities, you should try to guess who the MC should avoid, who he should be scared to death of, and who is just watching him (yet).

Unobvious villains: Isn't that what we face in real life?😉

In my mind.

I paint a tapestry of words with my brain first, and only then with my fingertips on a keyboard. Only then it's not typing, it's creating.

On what? A blank sheet of digital white paper. Word for myself and Google Drive to collaborate with my editor. @bookstadon

In my first book, The Closed Tunnel, I explore what we are overlooking in the present, and what stunning technological experiments are happening beneath our feet, hidden from view underground.

The Closed Tunnel is not only not far from reality, it is so close that it gives you the creeps that it might be true.

#NaNoWriMo Day 5. Don't Mess With the #Writer 😈

The day before I decided to take a break and trim my trees, so I did! 💪🏻😄 A meditative exercise, I tell you. While pruning, I thought about the plot development of my #scifi book The Closed Tunnel.

Can I brag? Not only am I writing a book, but I have pomegranates in the garden 😂

Key takeaway: writing a #book is not always typing on a keyboard. 80% of the time, the story is born in your head.

Day 2 of my was quite productive. After a hard first day of writing & researching for my book The Closed Tunnel, I was able to write freely based on the curated material.

I suppose is one of the hardest parts of creating . I don't trust the first or even the fourth source I see on the web. My background in physics and the industry helps me to at least have an idea if an article is crap or not. 😄 @scifi @bookstodon
