The Physics of Music and Color: Sound and Light

This undergraduate textbook aids readers in studying music and color, which involve nearly the entire gamut of the fundamental laws of classical as well as atomic physics. The objective bases for these two subjects are, respectively, sound and light. Their corresponding underlying physical principles overlap greatly: Both music and color are manifestations of wave phenomena.

Listen
On Music, Sound and Us

Michel Faber explores two big questions: how do we listen to music and why do we listen to music? To answer these questions, he considers a range of factors, which includes age, illness, the notion of "cool," commerce, the dichotomy between "good" and "bad" taste and much more.

GameDev problem: the music in our WebGL game on itch.io won't start until the user clicks in the window. Unity claims this is a browser limitation (no autoplay):

https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/webgl-audio.html

... but the user has already clicked to load and launch the game, so it seems there should be no reason to require another click. I know I've seen WebGL games on itch that don't have this problem.

Does anyone know a workaround?
