I’ve just finished this gorgeous novella by Priya Sharma. Very complex in all the good ways, and transparently simple in all the beautiful ones.

The heart of this collection is an excoriating and hilarious satirical novella about the post-war American comics industry, but my favourite was ‘Hypothetical Lizard’, a stunningly beautiful queer secondary-world fantasy.

WEIRD TALES: 100 YEARS OF WEIRD was just delivered to my door & whooo-hoo, is it pretty. Seriously. It has a kickass dust jacket, a prismatic cover, & is CHOCK-FULL of color images inside. Jonathan Maberry edited this beauty & it has mucho talent in these pages.
