Dixie Dregs - What If (1978)

I always loved that little section of acoustic guitar with violin in Odyssey. Sounds almost like a Kansas tune. https://songwhip.com/dixie-dregs/odyssey

One of my favourite what if Miles stayed in a certain period albums is 'The Anti-Social Club' by Alan Pasqua.

It is In a Silent Way meets more bite. It has Cline, Amendola, Acuna, Haislip, Akinmusire and Jeff Elwood on saxophone. (What a lineup! Rich Breen mix is beautiful as well)

I do wonder what Miles inspired albums would you suggest?

@MarkedByVander @jazz Good call. How about this one: “London Brew” is a group of 12 London based artists: Benji B, Raven Bush, Theon Cross, Nubya Garcia, Tom Herbert, Shabaka Hutchings, Nikolaj Torp Larsen, Dave Okumu, Nick Ramm, Dan See, Tom Skinner and Martin Terefe. The group came together for a three-day recording session at The Church Studios in London in December 2020 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Bitches Brew.

50 years ago, scientists dreamed of lasers that could kick off nuclear fusion - Science News Magazine

I read an article in Fortune magazine 50 years ago about the laser approach to fusion. We’re still waiting.

Elon lied about the monkeys — and he shouldn't be trusted to put his Neuralink chips in human brains.

"They are claiming they are going to put a safe device on the market, and that's why you should invest," Ryan Merkley at the Physicians Committee, told Wired. "And we see his lie as a way to whitewash what happened in these exploratory studies."

Really heartbreaking reading what happened to the monkeys.

People quite rightly think of Elizabeth Holmes as a fraud for making false medical claims about what the Theranos machines could do. So why aren't Elon's claims at Neuralink being held to the same level of scrutiny?
