If you look at my social media my colour palette looks really muted because of all the pictures of my black dog and the greyscale photos of my mom's sock (to preserve a little bit of surprise).
But I should probably mention that the other thing on my needles is very much not grey.

Moved on to a craft that's more resilient to coughing and finished my book! This is the Whale Watch cowl that got put on pause when for some reason #FallFinishAlong got me pulling out all the cotton projects.
My in-laws have many stories of vacation disasters, and their trip to visit us has this far resulted in one broken arm and three positive covid tests. But I finished my hat! And my covid test was negative! (We'll see how long that lasts.)
