About a year and a half ago I had to "chop and prop" (cut/propagate) this Sinocrassula due to stem rot (see the post about it on my old account here https://mastodon.social/@chillicampari/108223295472840443 )

It took a while with a few false starts and there were times I almost threw it away thinking it was dead but I'm glad I stuck with it and here's what it looks like now. This time they grew a lot of air roots which looks a bit weird but it seems stable.

my #philodendron Brazil was ludicrously overgrown, so i gave it a haircut today. once the cuttings take i'll use them to restart it.

1/ @plants #Houseplants from the #WindowsillGarden for a sort of #FensterFreitag - 2 of the shots (2nd n replies) have the window glass and one a bit of frame, as background (the other on a countertop, beside with window light!)
The little #Haworthia was looking colourful- Haworthiopsis now, I haven't been that active in houseplants in recent years, so still not used to the 'new' names which aren't even that new anymore...lol Views backlit and front lit.

Small succulent plant in a plastic pot painted greyish, with stones on the soil surface, sitting on a faux marble countertop in a shaft of sunlight coming from the side, many narrow hard vertical leaves that come to a sharp point, tightly packed around a short invisible stem- they are huddled closely around the inner growing point. Leaves are a dark green, with rows of white raised tubercles across the surfaces. Leaves are tinted reddish, especially farther from the centre, towards the bottom where some are quite red, then orangey, with dying/dead leaves towards bottom progressively paler, then dry shrunken and light tan coloured.

#SucculentSunday: i started this pot of succulents from cuttings and leftover succulents that no longer fit in my room. i first posted a picture of it in July; two months later and the growth is bursting out of the planter.

Re-potted the Sempervivium (Hauswurz) today into a balcony box to give them some more room. The boxes don't always have drainage holes so I drilled some. The soil mix for these are Seramis Kakteen for the lowest layer, a mix of sandy succulent soil and Lechuza-Pon (I ran out of Seramis) for the center and a small layer of Lechuza-Pon on the top. I didn't remove all of the older soil to keep most of it together but loosened the roots a bit.

I found the most amazing thing on my Aloe zebrina Dannyz. It’s getting a bloom! Putting my plants outside in the greenhouse over the summer just makes them so happy! Sorry for the dark picture, but I noticed when it was getting dark already. #Plants #Pflanzen #succulents @plants
