@ExcessivelyDiverting@bookstodon re: the poll: I don't care which version(s) you prefer but don't yuck on other people's yums. Don't start arguments that 1995 is better because of X or that 2005 is better because of Y. I'm not here for it and I will block you if you go down that path.
@ludibriumventis@bookstodon I'm a librarian (though I do not work in libraries anymore) so I'm still on some publisher's lists for ARCs (I do review ARCs for Netgalley and Goodreads) so it was a super pleasant surprise to find that email in my inbox tonight.
The one thing is that it promised to be funny and not academicy which is perfect. Here's hoping that is true!
