Morning glory Grandpa Otts: this electric beauty surprises me every morning as its trumpets open at different places on the vine. I managed to keep the slugs off (garlic spray!) when they were babies, so now about a dozen plants are climbing through the August garden. Each flower opens for just one day. But what a day.
Photos of the flowers that I have planted near the back wall of our house. Many of the smaller ones are not really visible unless closer up. I am really impressed with the big ones, I have never been able to grow flowers like this.

My mother bought blue passiflora, or passion flower, whatever you decide to call it, seeds this spring. From all just a single one grew but its leaves aren't like the ones we've seen before.
Is this plant still young, hence the leaves separated in three and not in five, or is my mother growing something entirely different?
All help, including tips for care, is much appreciated! :blob_sign_pls: @plants
