Today marks the end of Scavengers Reign on Max.
(no, we don't know if there will be another season, but I have no confidence in Warner. And maybe it's just not necessary.)
I regret to inform you that the crouch roll now works properly so instead of a cool breakdance you get to see my terrible animation as intended. #gamedev#animation#unity3d
Cowboy Bebop is one of my favorite anime series. I love the characters, the storyline, and the dip into sci-fi.
Maybe what I love most, though, is the opening. The retro feel to the animation/transitions is flawless and the song is absolutely delightful. It’s a track called “Tank!” by the band Seatbelts. It’s quite thematic.
An assortment of some very adorable hedgehogs from illuminated manuscripts, mostly dating from the 14th and 15th c.
Snails and rabbits get a lot of attention, but personally I love the hedgehog. Especially the ones with stuff on their spines. #medievodons#medieval#medievalart#bestiary
I saw some of his art online and thought it looked like “Invisible Hands” from Liquid Television, which I LOVED. Same artist! This didn’t have quite the same level of twisted, creepiness as that animated series, but I was so happy to find his work in comic form. There’s more too.
Book 13: “Violenzia and other deadly amusements” by #RichardSala.
Four stories, the two with Violenzia were the best. I love Sala’s creepy sensibilities, but this didn’t do it for me. My library doesn’t carry many more of his books so this may be my last (for now anyway). We’ll always have “Invisible Hands” though, which I’ll link to (again!) for your delectation: https://youtu.be/n5sP4yRb8Mw
