Is this story legit? No idea. Can I believe it? Absolutely. And I can do so without giving a damn. A country at war for no fault of their own is going to have a strong amount of nationalism and dissenters living within it could very much get disappeared. Whether it’s from Ukrainian propaganda, or just the will of the people, dissenters tend to vanish.
