I thought maybe it would hit its peak after Qatar given they seemed to give up any semblance of trying to be welcoming to a diverse global audience with the ban on LGBT supporting arm bands and beer in the stadiums at the eleventh hour. I guess enough people still watched and they made enough money to amke it still worth it.
