It’s very nice to see that X people liked a post/comment and Y people disliked it instead of just having a singular “goodness/badness” rating. It (literally, in a mathematical sense) adds a whole new dimension to post ratings and gives us a more nuanced understanding of people’s opinions. Plus, it feels a lot better to...
Is there an option to see the entire local feed of an instance I don’t have an account on within Voyager? Or even to subscribe to that feed? It seems especially useful for smaller instances that separate their discussions into smaller communities. This could be country specific instances for example.
I’m already sponsoring Voyager on GitHub, but now that the app even exists on the AppStore I really hope you’ll consider adding an actual Paid Subscription, as many of your users (probably most) don’t even have a GitHub account....
You can set the default view through lemmy in the browser to always default to All, Home or Local but voyager doesn’t seem to respect the setting. Is there another way? I have to switch from Home to All every single time I open the app
First of all, thanks for a great app that I have been using ever since I joined Lemmy, it made the whole transition from that other place much easier....
Ever since I’ve switched to the app from the playstore I’ve found that I’d accidentally select posts and whatever on the screen when scrolling. I haven’t found this issue with other apps I also use like infinity for Lemmy and Sync. Is there a way for me to adjust the sensitivity? I’m loving the app otherwise.
It seems like the Android native app opens all links in my default browser instead of the internal one? Is that what’s expected? I don’t see anything in the settings about that.
I run my own continusly updated instance and many pictures, I would say 50%, do not display fully when I tap on them, I just get the cropped version of the thumbnail. Is it my instance or the app, as the issue started when this commit about thumbnail was pushed?
Maybe I’m missing something basic but I’ve been using Voyager with the Mark posts as read on scroll and Show hide posts button. While browsing the Voyager community, I scrolled till 19d mark and pressed hide posts. No matter what I do know, I’m unable to bring back those old posts. Shouldn’t it show everything by default...
Is there any way to go back to the old icon? I’ve been trying to figure out a way to hack it into place, and I’m sure I can with enough time, but it would be nice if there is just a switch somewhere in settings that I’m missing.
I notice that opening external links on voyager will also have the visited site/url appearing on my Chrome history. Is this intended? Anyway to turn on/off such syncing of history?
I tried a lemmy.world account and lemm.ee account, each with the username and then the email. The accounts work fine on the Voyager web app, just not the native iOS app.
