The Ministry of National Defense and the Lithuanian Army continue their uninterrupted military support to Ukraine. On Friday, a new shipment of support was delivered to the Ukrainian army.
The Lithuanian army delivered to Ukraine several million cartridges and several thousand ammunition for portable short-range anti-tank grenade launchers. Also - about a thousand folding beds.
“We hear Ukraine’s urgent requests and continue our support according to the expressed needs. We actively encourage our allies to do the same,” says Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.
In addition to the constant transfer of military equipment and equipment, Lithuania also actively trains Ukrainian soldiers, provides treatment and rehabilitation to Ukrainians, organizes expert consultations, and allocates funds to international support funds for Ukraine.
Lithuania has already drawn up a long-term support plan. For the years 2024-2026, a new 200 million EUR military support package for Ukraine.
