Ukrainian activists placed banners on the border with Belarus, warning neighbors about the danger of cooperation with the Russian Federation

heeplr,

A translation would be nice.

LaFinlandia,
Thisfox,

You will become a cargo?

JohnDClay,

Cargo 200 is from the Soviet Union in Afghanistan referring to dead bodies being taken back. Instead of taking about deaths, they would refer to how many of cargo 200 they were shipping. But the public caught on a while ago. So my guess is it’s saying you’ll die, and the government will try and cover it up/minimize it.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cargo_200_(code_name)

Thisfox,

I see. Thankyou for filling me in, I didn’t know the reference.

Therushinrussian,

“with the rushists, you will become cargo 200”

Rushists = fascists but Russian.

Cargo200 = old code from Afghan war. When a military transport’s load was listed as ‘cargo 200’, it meant the transport was taking back the corpses of the Russian soldiers. Its entered the lexicon due to songs and books, it’s a commonly used euphemism for war dead.

It’s saying that if you align with the Russians politically, you will end up as one of their dead.

Sir_Simon_Spamalot,

Those ar fucking billboards
