The temp at which op is vaping almost certainly plays a role in this experience.

I find short heady highs with lower temps. When you kick the temp up it loosens some of the heavier 'noids that add to the body feel. This can happen with the same flower or trates in 2 different devices, or temps.

I recommend op try pushing temps up a bit to get the longer term effects they desire.

It’s also worth noting for op, vape high, smoke high, and eddie high are all different. Eddies metabolize into a stronger, more psychoactive substance than vaping or smoking. With smoking, part of your experience is the toxins you just inhaled. With vaping, you’re only getting the noids, which is why some folks don’t feel as messed up from vaping, initially. It’s a change. But it’s better in the long run. Cleaner, longer lasting effects when done right.
