UPDATE: This has been resolved as of August 19, 2023...
Is that a configuration or a software problem?...
Hi There,...

What’s the point of having a delete account feature if you can log back into it immediately?
I’ve seen a few european instances that are completely irrelevant to me and in a different language and I’d prefer not to have them cuttering thinga up
I have a entry level android phone from last year but still seem to have a hard time running lemmy apps. The ones I’ve tried will crash a few pages in and can’t keep my position cached when it’s not open. I don’t have these problems on Relay and the phone isn’t from 2015 so shouldn’t have issues running a simple web...
So I just came across a community being used to solicit fake Amazon reviews. But I don’t see a way to report this to the admins. Since the user in question moderates the community they are posting spam to, it seems like the report button will just go to them?...
It seems like most empty communities have 3k subs. This makes it much harder to find active communities.
As per this post, it seems Lemmy World is having federation issues. I’ve had some of my posts and comments get suspiciously low response, so I’ve looked into it and it turns out that many of them aren’t showing on other instances....

Hello, I posted an article to world news which was deleted. I was not told why. Not posted in modlog
If not, will this feature be added in the future?
I created an instance, and was thinking it as a normal self-hosted server where I can do whatever I want with no worries, and learned in a bad way that it’s on a federation and we still have to follow some rules....
I can’t upload any kind of image to Lemmy. Regardless of device I use, iPhone/Voyager or Mac/Firefox, I get this HTTP 403 error. The issue persists regardless of which wireless network I am connected to....
Since lemmy.fmhy.ml and lemmy.fmhy.net is no longer online. I would like to suggest lemmy.world and other instances to delete any communities and posts from these two instances that are cached....
When I go to view an individual community the newest posts are not always showing. Some communities look like they have no posts, even though I know that they do. Example: lemmy.world/c/autismWhen I view the link I only see posts that are from August 5th or older. When viewing all on the instance, newer posts will appear though....
The only way I can get c/juggling to show up in community searches on any app is if I am logged into an account that was made with lemmy.world, what can I do about this? I am the sole mod and creater of the community.
I searched Lemmy for a community around the SCP Universe and did not find one. I thought ‘Hey, maybe I can start one’, but I’ve never modded a community on any site and I was trying to think of what the time commitment would be like (to see if it would be manageable for my situation)....
Would it be possible to implement a Blur NSFW setting that’s tied to your account?...
I made a comment in a community and then blocked that community. Why am I getting notifications from that comment? I don’t want to read replies to my comment. I don’t want to get notifications from that community. I am uninterested, and the contact is unwanted. That is why I blocked it — it’s almost the entire point...
I recently wrote a command-line utility lemmyverse to find communities indexed by Lemmy Explorer. A quick count shows almost 14%(!) of all communities indexed by lemmyverse are junk communities created by a single user @LMAO (reported here):...
I’m noticing that new posts, comments and especially updates to posts and comments and votes are not pushed to the origin of communities which lemmy.world users have subscribed to. Or at least it takes many (>> 10) hours....
