Lianodel, Granted, I’m already burnt out on 5e, but the idea of running it RAW is particularly unappetizing. Aside from shutting down a lot of creativity, a lot of the rules are straight-up busted or missing entirely.

Often running things RAW is the brave move.
Like have you ever run a chase scene according to the DMG?
MajorHavoc, Yeah. Oof. Or grappling according to the rules. Life is simply to short for that.
Flushmaster, I know DMs who think everything is better if it’s homebrew and their games all suck.
Kichae, Pf2e subreddit in shambles.

I almost never needed to homebrew anything when I ran pf2e. It actually has an the rules I needed.
Kichae, Yeah, I know. I’m just poking fun at how… Forceful that subreddit ihas been whenever homebrew is brought up.
The books a billion pages thick for a reason.
abracaDavid, Man I love Dark Place.
MajorHavoc, Me too!
And we’re lucky there’s so much great documentary footage on how it was made. /s
But seriously, the interviews are so great.

Thumbs up for Garth Merenghi!
edgemaster72, I’ll have to pull some money out of the ATM machine (after putting in my PIN number of course) so I can buy the book with the RAW rules
myrrh, …used to be able to get them all on a compact CD disc for reading on your personal PC computer…
