#NowPlaying - celebrating buy nothing day, part 3, by continuing to go through the pile of folkways LPs from @4CPcomics's father. volume 2 of pete seeger doing topical tunes, 1961, including anti-nazi, anti-nuke, anti-rand corp., anti-john birch, anti-boss material etc. seeger & lee hays's "tomorrow is a highway" (written in 1950, but not sung by the weavers) is a perfect snapshot of topical music before bob dylan's arrival, using a lot of the same imagery but coming out stilted. @vinylrecords
