sigmasternchen, 9 months ago @jerry Might be a stupid question. But pixelfed is modelled after Instagram, right? So wouldn't stripping out metadata, down-scaling and re-encoding to a common resolution/compression level kind of be part of the design?

jerry, 9 months ago @sigmasternchen yes, however there are settings to turn off downscaling/compression which don't seem to work
