I can't figure out how to keep pixelfed from doing horrible terrible unspeakable things to high res picture uploads....

@jerry Might be a stupid question. But pixelfed is modelled after Instagram, right? So wouldn't stripping out metadata, down-scaling and re-encoding to a common resolution/compression level kind of be part of the design?
