The old joke was if a US satellite and a Russian satellite met, they would speak German to each other. During the ‘great’ war we didn’t get along with our allies, but we did get along with the Germans. Big, big clue there. So, we are here, but just like always, serf’s are needed.

@YakyuNightOwl@StillIRise1963 a couple of miles from where I work, outside Chicago, you can go to a POW camp compound where German pow’s were housed. The buildings are gone, but you can tell where the foundations where and a few other items (boilers) are buried. No walls, fences or other were put up. As you pointed out lots contributed to the space program that weren’t recognized until it became profitable to do so. And we should forever grateful to female POC
