@aemaeth that’s a great question! Blue moons are what the second full moon in one month is called. It doesn’t have a thing to do with the color. Super moons are when the full moon happens at the closest part of the moon’s orbit around earth. Those two things happening at the same time is called a super blue moon and the next one is in 2035 or 2037, IIRC
@jerry It was overcast here. But at least I got to see it the day before it was official.
It's funny that right now we have a giant moon in the sky, but it shows up late, so you have plenty of darkness for the other sky watching reasons before the moon shows up.
