if your dog is prone to running in her sleep, this is a very dangerous situation in the bed. Waking up to the feeling of being jackrabbit kicked by a sleeping 80 pound dog is… not ideal.

@jerry but it’s really cute once you’re awake to appreciate it.
Assuming blood wasn’t drawn. =D

@whereisthespai indeed it is. Usually I assume she had a bad dream and snuggle her close

@jerry I just rub my dog's belly and they settle down. I tend to be concerned cuz they make noises as well.

@jerry our boy does that. He's 105lbs and kicks HARD

@jerry I mean, I grew up with a 90lb Boxer-Shepherd mix, and she loved sleeping in beds and had this problem.

So on the one hand it's kinda just a thing that seems normal to me. On the other hand, I'm a 6'1" former heavyweight martial artist, and people have been puzzled why it's so hard to push me off my balance. Clearly they have never held the leash of a dog that weight when she gets the "flying nun ears".

@UncivilServant the 4 wheel drive they have is just incredible.
