I followed the link to see the possible designs.
The first page gave an arithmetic question (NOT math, that is a separate rant) to "prove I am human".
I proved I am human by leaving the page.
@EU_Commission Ideally, every #banknote would bear my portrait. I’d be wearing an impressive crown and a very dignified look. There would be no name, so nobody knows it’s me. People would be like: ‘Who IS this guy?’ and ‘The king?’ and ‘We don’t even have no bloody king!’ and ‘Hey, that’s a double negative!’ Sometimes people would recognise me and ask: ‘Hey, aren’t you the #Euro guy?’ ‘No’, I’d answer, ‘but I hear that a lot.’
@EU_Commission Cash? That stuff you get from your grandparents on Christmas and becomes a chore to get into your bank account?
How about just discontinuing cash?
@EU_Commission I think it would be quite interesting if the banknotes incorporated some sort of material native to the country represented by the design, similar to how Canadian banknotes were rumoured to be maple scented.

@EU_Commission Knowing the list of themes before filling out the survey would help you choose a favorite. You start voting and have no idea if the one you like enough is the best or the next one is even more interesting.
@EU_Commission Again? Surely they don't need another redesign, especially with the increasing prevalence of a cashless society nowadays...
Maybe spend the money ensuring EU-wide banking is up to scratch to ensure that contactless transactions are without a hitch and removing any hidden fees.

You know that one of the benefits of #BrexitShambles is that EU-27 can stop using English now & speak in your native tongue? 😉 There is still Ireland, but you can speak Irish for them. 🇮🇪 💖 🇪🇺
Still, with the plunge in the value of £-sterling, I'd still rather be in the Eurozone right now. 🇪🇺
@EU_Commission These themes are pretty bland and boring. However, one of them is "birds". In Italy, bird is an euphemism for penis. So, people of the EU, you know what to do: bird is the word.
@EU_Commission Colourful, flowers, animals, something like that. Not those old, boring buildings that don't even exist. And there can't be a dispute between countries about those, can it?
@EU_Commission Whatever you all come up with, it has to be better than our American money! We have the ugliest money on the planet. But it buys stuff, so I guess it's OK/
