The person on the far right is a man, who would have been considered very cool and masculine looking by people his age.
The half shirt, the short shorts, the thick gold plated chain, the permed hair, the unseen but probable high top Air Jordan’s… peak 80’s young male attire.
My only point is that times and fashions change over time, but the 80’s were special.
The lead singer of Europe helped a lot of guys come to terms with being bi. In my case I realized he wasn’t any less attractive when I realized he was a man.
