This is how I play fighting games these days. Wait for the dirt cheap ultra collection.
I think I got MK 11 for like $20 a while back and certainly got that much enjoyment out of it. Story mode and tinker around with the guest characters a little bit.
I just play them single player, so I’m in no rush.
