Paris explosion: Four in critical condition after blast
Several buildings have caught fire following an explosion in the fifth arrondissement, officials say.

Seems like no word yet regarding cause, but a gas leak seems to be the suspicion at the moment.

If you look at the photos, a gas leak definitely seems the most likely. But that's of course just speculation right now.
