I think my favorite part is they have electric guitar based music about preserving their culture and rejecting the west.
Like I’m not shocked they don’t understand the delicate interplay’s of collectivism vs individualism in western society, especially how many queer communities are attempting to form syntheses of the two. But electric guitars are as iconically a form of American cultural dominance as Hollywood and blue jeans.
