Putting too much value on ethical standards while not considering the current system leading up to this point.
I am not sure what standard when the definition of what is a standard can be swayed by those that hold influence.
Only thing I can hope for is some robust rules that can impede some of the more onerous elements of A.I. use to try keep in check but again you are right.
I can see why people mention A.I. development as the next revolution, best case I can hope for is that humanity can mature with it or at least enough people can that it doesn't lead to a dystopian future or SkyNet.
