Trying to find out reason for Framedrops in X4 Foundations, 3060ti on Ubuntu 23.04
Hi everyone! I’m currently investigating some pretty strong framedrops in X4 Foundations on my Linux daily driver. The framerate is usually in the 50s and I’m wondering if something isn’t working right since I’m experiencing some massive frame drops. As you can see from the image, there are multiple colors in the GPU related graphs. Those are changing powerstates. It changes from P0 (fastest) to P3 and even P5 which is very low. I only tabbed out later to check the stats since the framedrops were beginning to get annoying. Not sure what causes the P-State change.
Btw. it does look like something around this game (steam, proton) has a memory leak as my ram seems to be filling up gradually. Also, I’m using no startup flags and proton is set to nothing in particular.
The game is in high all over since I can’t stand to look at the cockpits without shadows.

Does anyone have an idea how to find the culprit? It could be a hundred things I guess. Some log I should post?
