cliché question, but hey why not?

I know this has probably been asked before but I am currently using Arch and wondering if my choice is the best for gaming. What are the thoughts from the community? I have an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with 64 gigs of RAM and a decent AMD GPU. Gaming seems to be okay on Arch but I am wondering if I’ve overlooked something better....

I’m using Gnome on Fedora and was wondering what terminal everyone’s using? When I had a Mac I really liked iTerm2 and was hoping to find a suitable Linux version, but so far no such luck. I’ve tried Guake but I can’t get the F12 binding to work....

I need to just pick a distro, install it on all my laptops, and become an expert on that one. Forget the rest!...

I’m currently running kubuntu 23.10 and have been distro hopping a lot lately. I’m going to continue to do so but the tedium of saving everything off is a royal pain....

Please understand that I haven’t tried or installed Arch Linux yet. From what I understand by reading and watching related videos, Arch is often breaks and a lot of time is required to fix issues. But I have also read comments from arch users who claim that arch has only crashed or caused them problems only a couple of times...

I need a PDF editor to create internal hyperlinks in a document. On Windows, we’ve had the defrag tool and others, that happily works on a drive even while it is in use, even the OS disk....
