I recently spoke to the current community moderator, @kalahlora. They have moved to a different account on another instance and are no longer active here. Would anyone like to take over as the new community mod? If so, please leave a comment in this post!
I run PK on my phone, which recently got hit by the Android 14 media storage bug (if you’ve not heard of this you probably don’t need to panic, it only affected people with multiple accounts on the phone)....
Just an update, I finally got around to washing and ironing this one. When I posted it before I mentioned that I fixed some issues with mismatched flosses using a sharpie and was advised I may not want to wash it in case the sharpie runs. I decided to take that advise at first, but the grime around where the hoop was looked...
Sorry I missed last week’s post. I’m having a busy week but it’s time for a week off and some rest and relaxation. I’m in a bit of a predicament. I finished my project on Tuesday, and I haven’t worked at all on my other WIP for about 3 weeks. I prepared a new WIP that I intend on doing while on a spa trip but if I post...
Sorry for the late post. I had a busy 6th of September, one of our national holidays. There was some work to do at home and I almost died so I totally forgot about the weekly thread. Ah well, better late than never!...

Hey there! August is almost over and autumn or spring are right around the corner. How has your week been? Did you get much stitching done? Did you start a new project?
I’ve never drafted a pattern but I want to make one from an image. The finished object would look really nice with backstitching in my opinion....
This past week has been a blast crafting-wise. I got a year older and finished the first two Discworld books (in order of release). I got more comfortable with crochet as well but we’re stitching here and that’s more important....
This week I managed to finish another page from the Greenhouse of Oddities. We have some deadly plants like the Angel’s trumpet and Doll’s eyes in there. The skull moth looks better in person, I swear.....
Je sais qu’il existe des kits pour aider les débutants à commencer mais je me demandais s’il était réaliste de vouloir débuter sans acheter du matériel. Est-ce que ça rend les choses beaucoup plus compliqués ?
I may or may not be a little bit late for the EU stitchers but here it is!...
I made good progress with the Greenhouse of oddities SAL 3rd planting. Only one shade of green left, as well as the backstitch, before moving on to the 4th planting....
It’s been a calm week with lots of free time. I made a lot of progress on my secret present project which went from 50 stitches to 600 in the matter of three days (actually two as I can only work on it every other day). The November deadline is more than feasible and by the looks of it it might be done by mid August, September...
I used to be a “one project at a time” kind of stitcher but lately I get sidetracked by other projects that I give out as presents so it’s always at least two at a time. Now it gets kind of difficult when I have a deadline for one but I also have to do it in secret… While living with that person and spending a good chunk...
Stitchy friends! Since makers tend to make more than one sort of thing, and we crafters need to stick together, here’s a list of fellow creative communities for your navigation pleasure....
I’m so excited to see your work :) Unfortunately my stuff is still packed away, but I’m itching to pull it all out
