I’ve been loving Jerboa, but I’m tired of having to see the same posts every time I open the app.

Any chance of folders for the subscribed communities, id like to sort the communities into sub folders so when I’m looking for interests i can look in a folder for all of those, for example i sub to lots of Ukrainian communities and would like to see them all in one folder rather than going up and down the communities list....

My biggest gripe with *lemmy is the community search only brings up communities that have already been cached by the instance you’re on...

Lemmy seems to have the feature to hide read posts which is a wonderful feature. The issue I seem to have is that I’m order to mark a post as read, I need to interact with that post in some fashion. Sometimes, I don’t want to and just don’t need to.

So say my main page is sorted TopSixHours, but I open a community and change the sort there to New. Would it be possible for Jerboa to continue to sort that community by New when I open it in the future?

Markup let’s you label a link which is really nice for readability but can also be used to trick people into opening a different site from what they are shown. For example the link below suggests it takes you to a Mastodon instance but if you blindly tap it it will take you somewhere else:...

I deleted a post after I accidentally posted it twice from two different accounts (on sopuli and fmhy)....

[BUG] Twice now jerboa has forgotten my account, I have to log in and then restart the app to view my subscribed feed. Might just be because of the update so I’ll see if it happens again.

Hi there :) I was wondering if it was somehow possible to add sharing images directly from the app. When I open an image, I have a download button, but I would also like to be able to share them directly to other apps....

As the title says, along with ~10% of people I’m a lefty. Is it possible to reverse the layout of my feed?...

I was recently browsing a thread and I wanted to flag something as a spoiler. I’ve seen other posts do it elsewhere so I dug around until I found out how....

Does anyone else have this weird backspace behavior when writing comments? I would describe it like this:...

The app on android was fine for a while, but the past few days it keeps logging me out and then my account is no longer saved. If I enter my account info it appear to have me logged in for a refresh or two, but then I can’t get to my profile and then I show up as Anonymous again....

Apparently it happens when there are more than 10 new comments, which takes up space and makes this icon shrink.

I suggest printing an error instead.

I’m asking for this in a few different communities for lemmy apps because I’d really appreciate the feature, I hope this isn’t seen as spam....

This is a new UI i created for Jerboa, more for practice than for anything serious. What do you think?

Before, when I accidentally clicked on a username, or on a link, or on a reply button, all collapsed comments would explode, which was annoying. This seems to have changed, which is a godsend. Thank you devs :D

I like scrolling “all” to find communities I might find interesting. It would be really great if there was some sort of indication if the post I’m looking at is from a community I’m subbed to or not. It would be a lot easier than going to the community and check for the eighth time because I don’t remember if I’ve...

The report button is right next to the share button, so I keep accidentally tapping report. If common action like share could be moved out of the hamburger list, as they are on the website, I think that’d make life easier....

When I look at the community info, it only gives me the name, and not the instance. This is useful information as some instances block others, so it’s important to know where you actually are.

This morning I tried to reply to a comment in [email protected], and got a “community ban” alert....

Usually the option is there, but sometimes only block user is available....
