I don't like the pop culture practice of binging a Thing all at once and plan on watching one episode of Flanagan's THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER a night... I'm hoping fervently that I'm not going to be spoiled about the show until I manage to watch it all 🤞

@stina_marie@horror - I do like a binge, but I have also got used to once again waiting to enjoy show episodes once a week (helped by the Apple TV shows and Better Call Saul release schedule, as well as Chucky and The Last Of Us).
@SaltiredPopcorn@horror OMG, you haven't watched Hill House yet? Have you read the book?
It's very fun and genuinely creepy at times but very different from the source material.
You could watch an episode of each for a super spooky time, but that might get confusing 😆

@SaltiredPopcorn@horror It WAS really nice when everyone was watching The Last of Us and we all were on mostly the same schedule. The last show that put such a massive amount of ppl on the same page was probably GoT.
So weird to remember that this way used to be the norm, growing up 😂
@stina_marie@horror - while I am as happy as you are for people to have the choice, it's infuriating to know that there are people out there who just want to be first, and sometimes then spoil it for others.
I totally understand being so far behind schedule that it's on me, but some people will spoil stuff within minutes or hours, ruining it for those yet to make the time in their day for something they have been looking forward to.
I tend to often have to binge as I watch with others who do. What usually happens is that they “leave me behind” as I go do other things and I have to rewatch on my own months later, at my own pace.
I prefer one or two episodes a night, to be honest. Enjoy it and savor it.
(I don't begrudge anyone binging it, honestly- I may not like doing it personally but am only bothered by others doing it because of the potential for stumbling upon spoilers)
