Just visited the amazing "Gardens of Ball". These are display & test gardens at Ball Horticulture's headquarters in the Chicago suburbs. They are not open to the public, but Ball allows local gardening groups to visit on weekdays in August by appt.

@gardening I probably should also say that the Ball display and test gardens are in zone 5. Although most of the plantings highlight their annuals, there are also some perennial areas. Some plants that we treat as annuals here are perennials in milder climates.
