Sorting the posts on this community by “top of all time” you see it’s mostly memes. Is there a community like this where people actually discuss solutions to these problems and encourage activism? Otherwise this community is more of a way to distract potential activists with emotional venting.
As mentioned, Walmart Chicago is closing all locations, more than likely due to theft, like Portland. If you ask me, I’d say rip up the buildings and parking lots and put a lot of flats or bus stations or something as a replacement.

The cities where I live where obviously designed for cars, are there any proposals on how to transition cities built to favour cars over to other forms of transportation or examples of cities that have done so? I know it’s probably possible but my imagination is limited.
