These tax schemes are meant to attract people to move to the country, many european countries have such schemes, including Denmark, Netherlands, and Spain. If his advisors see that the money brought in by immigrants who are on this tax scheme is not worth it, then sure 🤷♂️
The scheme was already cut back a few years ago and very few people still qualify for it. So yes, this will have next to zero effect on the housing issue.
