@RuthFlaherty@edutooters This was such an interesting question that I had to look up squatter's rights and learn new terms like adverse possession! 😂 I would say that, if the squatter meets all the legal standards for an adverse possession in the given jurisdiction, then the vampire cop has no choice but to recognize the squatter's resultant ownership of the premises as valid, and act accordingly.
